About the Event

Celtic Exodus: The Musical premieres in Dublin for a strictly limited summer season of 32 shows at The Round Room at the Mansion House from July to August 2026.
Brought to you by ShinaWil, one of Ireland’s leading independent television and live entertainment production companies, Celtic Exodus is a full-scale new Irish musical with global ambition. Created and written by Brian Warfield of The Wolfe Tones, the production tells a powerful story of love, rebellion, famine, resilience and the enduring spirit of the Irish people.
Set in 1840s Ireland, Celtic Exodus follows a story of star-crossed love, hardship and hope as famine and oppression force thousands to leave their homeland during one of the greatest migrations in Irish history.
The musical celebrates how Irish music, dance, storytelling and customs travelled to the four corners of the world through generations of exile and migration, helping shape Irish identity across America, Canada, Britain, Australia and beyond.
This spectacular all-singing, all-dancing production features 20 original songs, powerful theatrical storytelling, live music and world-class choreography. Combining cinematic staging, Irish dance, emotional ballads, stirring choruses and epic choreography, Celtic Exodus is being described as the Irish Les Misérables for a new generation.
Presented in the iconic Round Room at the Mansion House, this premium theatrical experience is expected to become one of Ireland’s landmark cultural productions.
